My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

If you had the chance to save a friend's life by running 1,800 km, would you do it? Well, that's exactly what I'm gearing up to do.

This November, I've set myself the mammoth task of running 60km a day for 30 days to raise $100,000 for Movember and ignite conversations about men's mental health among 100,000 people.

Sharing this is daunting because it means I am committed. I've been mulling this over for weeks, the words sitting untouched in my drafts.

The number 60 stands for the 60 men we lose every hour to suicide around the world - that's 1,440 fathers, sons, brothers, and friends every day.

It's a harsh reality, especially knowing that men account for 75% of all suicides in Australia and it's the leading cause of death for men under 55.

This will undoubtedly be the most demanding thing I've ever undertaken, and I realise it won't be a solo mission. I'll be running the miles, but it will take a team to pull off this enormous task.

During my early thoughts on possibly doing this and. I've had time to reflect, especially on my conversations with Seth about his dreams of playing professional basketball. It led me to a profound realisation:

Boys who dream need men who dare...

I can't encourage my boys to dream big if I'm not willing to do the same.
So, here's to daring greatly, to dreaming big, and to starting the journey.

Huge congratulations to you CJ, for committing to this challenge and following through. This was a huge undertaking and I feel privileged to know you and support you. One of my most treasured and favourite quotes that I do my best to live up to is 'Integrity is the Essence of Everything Successful, Long Term'. And you my friend have it in spades. Well done!

Hey CJ, thought I’d drop by to say a big hairy thanks for flying the flag for men’s health (again) this year.

You’re smashing your fundraising all in the name of a bloody important cause – to help men live happier, healthier and longer lives. You are clocking up those KMs quickly! Nice work. All the best or the 60km in a few days (we are cheering you on!)

There’s still plenty of fun to be had this Hairy Season so keep it up legend.

United we Mo - Anika from Mo HQ.

Note: As donations can be made privately, not all donations are displayed to the public.
