My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

This year’s Movember has hit a ifferent chord with Men’s Physical and Mental Health for me; so this year, I’m participating differently to the last 10 years.

Late last year, I lost my Dad to Liver Cancer at 60 years of age. I didn’t think I would have to witness my Dad pass away at what Australian Society views as a young age, but here we are, almost a year without him. My family and I should’ve had another 10-20 years with him, however, it was his time to leave us and we take everyday as it comes.

In Australia, there’s a constant, nonchalant attitude with Men and Movember is a vessel to change the way we look at changing stigma and attitude towards the way we look at Men’s Health. Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.

This year, I’m ditching the Mo and going to be regularly checking in with the men in my lie to see how they are going, both physically and mentally. That being said, I call on everyone to help support me and raise much needed funds (all tax deductible) to help change the stigmas and perceptions around how we face some of life’s tough times

Please help me raise $6000 (representing the 60 years Dad was with us)
