Movember
2 minutes read time

Movember is proud to be partnering with St Kilda Football Club to deliver the 2nd annual Spud's Game, a momentous match for mental health happening in Round 14 of the AFL on Friday night, June 17.

WAYS YOU CAN GET INVOLVED

BUY A VIRTUAL FOOTY

The footy brings us together. It’s the game’s ultimate symbol of mateship and connection.

By purchasing a virtual footy at Movember.com/Spud, you can help us look after the mental health of our mates, and fund life-saving mental health and suicide prevention programs delivered through the new Danny Frawley Centre.

We do it for the mate we miss. For the mate doing it tough. For the team. For the community. For Spud.

Get around the footy for a mate.

MERCHANDISE

Raise funds and look good while doing it. Show your support in limited edition, commemorative game-day merch, which is now available online here.

TIME 2 TALK

Spud’s Game encourages us all to go beyond the banter and take action for the mental health of our mates. We aim to equip the community with tools on how to start a difficult conversation and to tune into the signs if someone is withdrawn or doesn’t seem like themselves. Together, we can stop our mates dying too young.

WHERE THE MONEY GOES

Funds raised will honour Spud’s legacy and help fund life-saving mental health and suicide prevention programs delivered through the Danny Frawley Centre, including Movember’s Ahead of the Game.

WATCH THE GAME

St Kilda V Essendon at Marvel Stadium, Friday June 17, 7.50pm AEDT.

Tune in from 7.30pm on Channel 7, Fox, or Kayo.

If you’re in Melbourne, purchase your tickets to Spud’s Game here.

We’re on a mission to reduce the risk of suicide and mental ill-health in the community. Together, we can fund pioneering mental health and suicide prevention tools, programs, and resources that reach at-risk Australians, to stop our mates dying too young.

If you or a mate need immediate support, contact Lifeline on 13 11 14.
