Our Motivation

To bring awareness to our community of Greater Springfield, QLD the issues behind men's health. Make sure that we are having regular check ups for our health, including prostate and testicular cancer. Most of all in making sure each and everyone of us has someone to talk to and to reduce the loss of life through suicide- it is OK not to be OK!

A quick start to Movember was derailed last Tuesday night right at the end of rock n roll downhill on the Jump Street tabletop. Despite landing head first on the flat, I did set an all-time personal distance record of 16.5m (not sure it really counts though).

I'm glad I have never skimped on my helmets. My Giro Ionos has served (and saved) me well since 2011. RIP Helmet.

Movember is back!

I created this Microsoft Teams background effect Movember image today and enabled for all of my work meetings. Steal it and use it or create your own and share it. Hopefully a subtle but effective way of increasing awareness.

Day 13 of Movember

364 Week(s) Ago

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. The Movember Foundation is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.
