Target: $1,000
raised $1,280 since 2011
My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

It feels like me and my two bros were born with beards. I come from a family of mostly men with all sorts of facial topiary. I’m a Father to three young boys and have a baby nephew.
Personally, I’ve found this year incredibly tough due to COVID and know several of my mates have had their own struggles, usually wanting to stay silent and ‘tough it out’ themselves rather than talk about it.
Recently I was saddened, but not surprised, to learn that the already alarmingly high rate of male suicides has increased significantly due to COVID. It made me consider how many men out there are struggling with stress or fear, with no one to talk to? Would you even know?
I want to help by raising funds and awareness for men’s physical & mental health and suicide prevention.
This month I will go clean-shaven for the first time in 15 years so I can re-grow a cheeky mo.
Plus, I will run over 60km and reach out to at least one bro per day.
All I ask of you is to donate what you can to support all those incredible dads, brothers, sons, husbands, uncles and mates so that they can live long, happy and meaningful lives.

Reach out to your bros!

One of my commitments this month is to reach out to at least one bro a day. This has been my favourite part.

I’ve been given brilliant advice, offered support to some bros in need and had some wonderful conversations on topics including family, work, COVID, the US election, #bitcoin and of course, women.

So today I’m reminding the guys to ‘Reach out to your bros’ and have a chat.

Extra kudos for reaching out to a bro who:
- Has gone a bit quiet or you haven’t spoken to in a while
- You don’t even know, though seems like they could use a mate

#Movember Day 7 is dedicated to my dear brother, Ulric.

Recently he was diagnosed with tongue cancer and has 6 weeks of intensive chemo and radio therapy ahead.

I’ve never known a more humble, kind-hearted, empathetic and comforting friend and teacher. He is truly one of a kind.

Yesterday I received a very special new djembe and so my first rhythms are shared as a prayer for Ulric’s full recovery.

Please support him by contributing to his campaign (below), or simply sending him love and prayers.

I love you bro ❤️

For Day 4, I’m celebrating the man who brought me into this world (with a legendary mo!) and has had my back ever since. The most friendly, generous, kindhearted, humble, diplomatic and diligent man you will ever meet. My Dad, Graham.

I’m so grateful for everything you’ve done for me Dad, I love you very much ❤️

Just did 10km in 30 degrees for all the bros out there. Wouldn’t have done it without the motivation of improving men’s health and suicide prevention.
