Join the challenge

Movember’s mission is to stop men dying young.

How to smash your fundraising target for six

Mo match

More than a run

Turn a regular match into a Movember-themed extravaganza. Deck out your stumps, bats and clubrooms to raise funds and awareness for Movember. While you’re at it, why not change the format to a T20 charity game? And how about a theme like Legends vs Young Guns to get current and past players involved.

On-field challenges

More than a run

Feeling in good form? Or just feeling downright competitive? A great way to raise funds – and motivation – is to pledge to donate a certain amount per run, wicket or catch for the month. Try $2 per run or $5 per wicket.

Snags ‘n chat

Throw some snags on the BBQ and have a chat, post-match or after training. Invite club members, family and friends together – with proceeds going to Movember. Encourage donations and let everyone know what your club is doing for men’s health. Let everyone know how to get involved.

Host a Mo-Ment

Movember

A cricket club’s involvement in Movember need not be limited to the pitch. Why not Host a Mo-ment and inspire donations over a trivia night? Throw in a couple of questions about men’s health to keep it fun. And consider raising the stakes with a bingo night or poker night.

Post-match spread

More than a run

Why not put some extra effort into the usual post-match spread and extend the offer to other club members? Give a Movember feel to the proceedings and encourage family and friends to bring in their best bites. Encourage donations – and important conversations about men’s health.

Make a pledge

More than a run

Pledge to take on a physical cricketing challenge. It’s called Mo Your Own Way – and it can be anything you want. Want to take 500 catches at training during the month formerly known as November? 100 runs around the oval this month in full gear? The louder and more outrageous, the better.

More about Movember Cricket

Where and when is the Movember Cricket Association Challenge?

It’s during (and sometimes, a bit before and after) the month formerly known as November.

The Movember Cricket Association Challenge is a series of ‘decentralised’ events. That means thousands of cricket enthusiasts and their supporters host matches, series, barbeques, trivia nights, social events and much more, all to raise funds for men's health.

How do I register for the Challenge?

Start by creating your Movember profile, called your Mo Space. You can sign up with the Movember app or online.

Once you're set up, join or start a team. Then join the official Movember Cricket Association Challenge.

Where does the money go?

Glad you asked. The funds you help raise go towards groundbreaking men's health projects. We invest in the critical areas of mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. We encourage you to learn more about our impact.
